Ceilings, walls, flooring, cabinetry, access areas, and investigation zones are identified clearly. You should never have to call afterward and ask what the scope meant.

Moisture, thermal, visual, and environmental conditions are documented independently. When the evidence aligns, that record can corroborate the conditions already identified by the restoration team.

Room geometry, dimensions, doors, openings, cabinets, missing walls, and key architectural details are captured and delivered in a format your estimator can open directly in Xactimate.
It is not a full rebuild estimate. It is a clean, editable starting point that removes one of the most repetitive parts of the handoff.

The ESX sketch is included with the assessment. Line-item pricing, repair quantities, and full rebuild estimating remain a separate professional service.

A second documented perspective can strengthen the file.
Apex does not rubber-stamp another party’s readings—and we do not enter the project looking for a reason to contradict them.
We perform our own field evaluation and document what the evidence supports. When our findings align with the restoration team’s observations, the project gains another professional record of the conditions that existed before drying, demolition, cleaning, or repairs changed the site.
That matters when owners, property managers, carriers, consultants, or attorneys later ask what was present and why the work proceeded.

Estimating is available as a separate service.
Before Apex became an assessment practice, it was an estimating desk. That background still shapes how the field record, room geometry, and estimating handoff are organized.
Restoration contractors can also retain Apex for desk estimates, field estimates, rebuild and reconstruction estimates, scope review, and estimate support.
The assessment and estimating assignments remain clearly separated. Use one service, the other, or both—depending on what the project actually needs.
